Pesto Pizza
This was the first meal I made in the kitchen in our new apartment. However...the oven was pretty much worthless and it took about an hour to melt the cheese! They are replacing our oven...yay! It was still delicious.I started with garlic naan and topped it with pesto. Then I added some sliced roma tomatoes, artichokes, feta and romano cheeses and topped it all off with an Italian blend of cheeses and melted it all up in the oven. Yum. Yum. Yum. It was so fast and easy. Everyone had their own personal pizza and we devoured them.

I always try to make the dough for our pizza, which is usually tolerable, but not great. If only our pokey doke grocery store would carry naan! Sounds like a memorable first meal! Glad you're getting a new range-- it just wouldn't do to have a bad oven!
I looks gourmet! Delish!
I never make my own pizza dough. I either use store-bought (Rustic Crust) or I buy from a local Italian food store.
Pesto pizza is good. I've been doing tomato sauce--either tomato paste with various italian seasonings sprinkled on top, or part of a can of Muir Glen Pizza Sauce. it's really not bad!
My favorite pizza lately involves cooking a package of frozen spinach and cutting pitted kalamata olives in half or quarters. I put tomato sauce on the crust, then the spinach and olives, and cheese on top. I've used various kinds of cheese, but mostly mozzarella. The olives and sauce have a lot of flavor, so I don't mind if the cheese is a little bland.
Glad you are getting a new oven! My oven in Prague was pretty awful, so I did almost all my cooking on the stovetop.
We missed you at the Natural Living Expo!

I think I mostly admire how versatile your little girl's tastes are... I assume she eats all these things you make?
